PERSONAL NOTE
It has been 20 months since I left my home country Sweden, to travel around in Asia. This month, we’re still in Bangkok, and I now understand why it’s called the ‘Land of Smiles.’ Every time I meet a local’s eyes, I’m greeted with a gentle, genuine smile. There’s something about that simplicity—just being in the moment. I love unique café's and right now I’m in a café so lush with greenery it feels like a jungle, reminding me that peace is always available when we allow it.

Don’t Do These 3 Things if You Want to Be Happy
1. Chasing Things in the World
Have you ever thought, “Once I achieve this, I’ll finally be happy”—only to feel empty again a few days later?
We grow up believing we need to earn love. That we must achieve success—whatever society defines as success—in order to be seen as valued and thereby have status. Society tells us we need a certain career, relationship, or a certain lifestyle to prove our worth.
But have you noticed how long happiness lasts when you finally get what you’ve been chasing? A few moments? A few days at most? And then… you need to chase the next thing.
And so the cycle continues.
The truth? You don’t need to earn love. You don’t need to prove your worth. You are already enough.
At your core, you are kind. You don’t have to force it—it happens naturally when you allow yourself to just be who you are. The thing that hinders us from being our self is: fear. Fear of not being good enough. Fear of not being lovable. Fear of not being kind or worthy.
And it’s not just you. When people seem unkind, it’s not because they aren’t kind—it’s because their fears are driving their behavior. Deep down, they are good. Fear simply distorts their actions.
The solution isn’t chasing—it’s dissolving fear. Because when fear and negative thoughts disappear, you naturally feel good about yourself—and whatever you have in life becomes easier to enjoy.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t have things.
You can have a lot and be happy.
Or you can have few things and be happy.
Neither scenario defines your worth.
2. Manifestation
Manifestation can become just another way to chase happiness.
๐ญ “If I get this, then I’ll feel good.”
๐ญ “Once I have that, I’ll be happy.”
But here’s the question I’ve always asked: Why take the long way around?
Instead of manifesting things, why not manifest the feeling directly?
If you dream of living by the beach because you believe it will bring you happiness, why not focus on feeling happy now? Instead of saying, "I want a house by the beach, and then I’ll be happy," simply say, "I choose happiness now."
What would shift in your life if you stopped chasing happiness and simply allowed it to exist within you—right now?
3. Trying to “Think Positive”
Have you ever tried to fight a negative feeling—only for it to come back stronger?
The most common way people try to “overwrite” a negative feeling is by thinking about good things from the past and forcing gratitude.
It does work for the moment. But then the negative feeling returns, and we have to repeat the process over and over again. It’s exhausting. It’s not sustainable.
That’s because thinking positive never works since you’re resisting what you actually feel.
Can you force yourself to fall in love with someone?
Can you force yourself to laugh at a joke that doesn’t feel funny?
Then why do you think you can force negative feelings to become positive ones?
It’s not about changing a negative feeling. It’s about dissolving it.
And once it’s gone… what’s left?
Imagine This…
What if you could wake up tomorrow feeling completely at peace—without chasing, forcing, or proving anything?
What if your mind was quiet?
What if you no longer felt like you had to fix yourself?
What if happiness wasn’t something you had to earn—but something that naturally appeared once fear was gone?
That’s the shift I help people make.
If your negative feelings disappeared, how would you feel?
๐ Fill in the blank:
If my negative feelings disappeared, I would feel ______________.
Sit with that for a moment.
Happiness is not something we chase, manifest or force.
Happiness is what remains when fear and resistance is removed.
And that’s available to you—right now.
